Sr Manager, Technology

The Sr. Manager of Technology Strategy, Initiatives & Operations will work alongside the Chief Information Officer in assuring that technology delivers on key commitments and assist in the ongoing transformation of the organization.  He or she will work cross functionally across all the departments within Accurate as well as key partners.  This individual plays a key role in the technology organization leading strategic planning, overseeing critical initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of our key priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CIO in working with technology leadership and key business partners in developing the technology strategy as well as the key initiatives required to realize the strategy.
• Oversea key initiatives within the technology organization.
• Coordinate and oversee initiatives like “hackathons” and working alongside HR in developing university relations to attract talent.
• Ensure initiatives are on track and delivering desired outcomes.
• Work with technology teams to ensure that IT meets its budget commitments.
• Track key technology metrics and develop appropriate communication paths to highlight success and identify steps to address shortcomings.
• Communicate with key vendors.
• Develop and manage the intake process for large initiative requests.
• Assess technology resourcing levels to ensure technology meets its commitments.
• Assist in the coordination of talent evaluation and goal settings across the technology teams. 
• Highlight the success of the Technology teams through coordination with HR and marketing and ensure success within Technology is rewarded at both the team and individual levels. 

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology
• Experience in software development including product management and AGILE principles.
• Strong experience managing technology programs.
• Ability to execute cross functional initiatives through the coordination and influencing of various teams.
• Working knowledge of project management practices
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills without direct authority.
• Solid problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Critical thinking skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a role that is constantly changing to meet evolving demands.
• Self-leader able to lead others and embrace unpredictable circumstances.
• Detail oriented, with strong written and verbal communication
