Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family.  We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs who bring their passion to work.  Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional, comprehensive home care services for over 20 years.  You may ask what’s in it for you, and we will tell you support from the owners, continuous training and learning opportunities, career growth, competitive pay rates, and an atmosphere of appreciation.  

We are seeking an experienced CNA to provide care for a bedridden female client, approximately 200 lbs. (preferably female). The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of CNA experience and prior experience working with dementia clients

Schedule:
  • Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Total care provided in bed
- Assistance with repositioning, sitting at the edge of the bed, and light exercises
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Laundry and meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage the client in conversation and activities 



  Compensation: $22.00 per hour
