As a Java Software Developer you will...
- Work in collaboration with other developers and teams to establish an enterprise SOM and CV tool suite for the IC utilizing COTS, FOSS, and GOTS capabilities
- You will collaborate on the integration of capabilities from different systems
- Participate as a key voice in the design, development, testing and integration
- Frequent user interaction and unsolicited feedback on the value you bring to the mission every single day
- Live and breathe the mission right along-side our users
Java Software Developer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)
- Experience developing with Java and RESTful APIs
- Demonstrated experience integrating multiple applications
- Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems
- Experience using workflow charts and diagrams, building scalable solutions to mission problems
- Knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic
- Demonstrated experience assigning, coordinating, and reviewing the work and activities of developer personnel
- Ability to work within rapid prototyping and Agile based software development methodologies
- Experience using Java-based technologies to develop enterprise systems
- Demonstrated research and development experience on the progression of ideas to production systems while developing innovative analytical solutions
Additional Skills We'd Like to See:
- Understanding of machine learning concepts
- Experience with development in microservice based architectures
- Understanding of web application development concepts
- Experience working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, specifically Elasticsearch
- Experience with development in microservice based architectures
- Understanding of web application development concepts
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing software enhancements to mission systems in other Government agencies
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka, NiFi automation
- AWS experience
- Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and software CM processes / tools (Subversion, GIT, JIRA, Confluence)
- Demonstrated experience with building DevOps pipelines for enterprise systems
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure as code applications (Chef, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
- AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps and/or, Architect, etc.)
- Security+ Certification
- Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and software CM processes / tools (Subversion, GIT, JIRA, Confluence)
- Demonstrated experience with building DevOps pipelines for enterprise systems
- AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps and/or, Architect, etc.)
