About the role - you will:
The overall mission of the Global Trust and Security Internal Protection is to provide actionable intelligence regarding security risks to the Enterprise Security Risk Management team and Seagate leadership. This position will formulate a continuously improving risk assessment program and coordinate with various functions to resolve internal protection vulnerabilities for Seagate processes. Key projects include understanding the data map and high-risk assets for the company, identify any single points of failure that could lead to a significant loss (company-wide), extensive research to map the external threat landscape for Seagate, timely reporting of findings to the ESRM, and quarterly progress reports to leadership. This position will concentrate on the following areas: internal sabotage, theft, fraud, and external risk. Establishing a benchmark with various professional networks will be critical. You will:
- Lead the internal protection program for Seagate and position the company to mitigate current and future risks.
- Conduct analysis from various data sources to identify high-risk processes, internal theft and fraud opportunities, and Utilize systems, teams and tools to identify high risk behaviors and escalation processes needed to mitigate.
- Communicate key findings to stakeholders
- Understand the current Internal Protection mitigation efforts from Seagate and enhance protocols to adjust to emerging risk.
- Work closely with the Global Investigations team to mitigate theft and fraud cases.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk Management Team, champions, and business owners to mitigate internal sabotage.
- Take lead in ensuring the Internal Protection protocols are executed routinely, identify process gaps, and course correct if needed.
- Network with industry partners, law enforcement, and research analysts to stay ahead of potential threats.
- Work closely with the litigation team on strategy to communicate with external partners and law enforcement.
- Partner with regional site security, investigations, and leadership to understand current and upcoming Seagate processes that could translate to internal protection risks.
Travel: Travel both domestically and internationally (as needed)
About you:

- Experience working on insider threats in a large corporation, law enforcement, military, or federal government.
- Experience mitigating insider threats
- Leadership experience with global teams
- Experience advising senior leadership on high risks and providing solutions to mitigate
Your experience includes:
- Knowledge of corporate security operations, investigation and intelligence gathering tactics, and emergency and crisis management operations
- Leadership experience including influencing without authority
- Strong ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance to achieve department and organizational goals
- Advising leadership staff on risks and issues related to Internal Protection
- Ability to manage intelligence vendors related to your role
- Executive protection training
- Crisis response experience
- Strong understanding of business processes
- Strong understanding of a variety of ERP Systems, Data privacy, and Process Mapping
- Analytic ability and drive, critical thinking skills, project management experience, and exposure to tactical and operational security
- Proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Office 365)
- Ability to synthesize business/financial data and develop recommendations
- Ability to work as needed to meet operational needs
- Advanced understanding of business, private and public sector
