This person will report into our European Accounting Manager and will lead our efforts to take on new, exciting, and complex  projects and will advise the VP of Accounting and the CFO on strategies and practices to ensure that procedures  are accurate and documented as we scale rapidly.  This opportunity offers a broad scope of work ranging from ensuring smooth daily operations to spearheading cross-departmental initiatives to streamline financial processes and drive efficiency.</p> <p> </p> <h3><strong>Your Role &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <p><em>Accounting / Tax / Audit Support:</em><strong> </strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with tax audits and tax returns</li> <li>Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance</li> <li>Support month-end and year-end close process</li> <li>Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls</li> <li>Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures</li> <li>Provide input into department’s goal setting process</li> <li>Lead the Netsuite transition &amp; implementation together with the European Accounting Manager </li> </ul> <p><em>Accounts Payable:</em></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for processing all invoices received from suppliers and facilitating payment to all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner</li> <li>Execute cre
