Summary of Job: The Occupational Therapist shall plan and implement specific occupational therapy treatment programs for residents in a variety of settings according to accepted Occupational Therapy practices and principles and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Reporting Relationship: The Occupational Therapist will report to the Director of Rehabilitation.
Requirements
Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:
Education: Postgraduate Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and currently licensed in the state of South Carolina as an Occupational Therapist. Possess a current certification from NBCOT. Three months of related experience in a senior living community or skilled nursing facility.
Skill: Ability to effectively communicate using basic language skills. Ability to manage time and the work demands using practical problem solving and critical thinking skills. Proficient computer skills and familiar with programs including, NetHealth, Rehab Optima, Casamba, Point Click Care, Microsoft Office, etc.
