Our Raytheon Global Ethics & Compliance (GEC) team has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal who will be a member of the Ethics & Business Conduct (E&BC) team responsible for the implementation of the various aspects of the ethics and compliance program across the Raytheon business. Specifically, this person will support the management of our Ethics & Compliance Officer (ECO) Network and the development of ethics communications and training content at Raytheon to supplement business-wide initiatives on key topics.
Additionally, this position will work with colleagues in the GEC Anti-Corruption team supporting the review, disposition, and documentation of key compliance matters. This role is ideal for an experienced Paralegal who has prior experience working with legal or compliance professionals in a large company looking to engage with a wide range of employees to support the development and execution of these important programs. The successful candidate will support the Legal, Contracts and Compliance (LCC) function and report to the Associate Director on the E&BC team who is responsible for the ECO Network.
What You Will Do
Support the management of Raytheon’s ECO Network comprised of employees across the business who have agreed to take on additional responsibilities in support of the ethics and compliance program; including maintaining program resources (ECO lists, training resources, video recordings), communicating with the part-time ECOs on program updates, and facilitating information flow between GEC leadership and the ECO Network as directed by the lead
Work with members of the Anti-Corruption team on the review, disposition, and documentation of key compliance matters with a clear focus on data integrity
Assist with other E&BC team tasks as requested that may include routing documents for review and approval (EX: conflict of interest disclosures, post Government employment reviews, etc.)
Ensure sensitive matters disclosed to GEC are handled with an appropriate level of discretion and care
Assist with the roll-out of new communications and training messages from E&BC
Support enterprise-wide GEC initiatives and process improvements to ensure alignment across various stakeholders
Perform other duties as assigned
Occasional domestic travel as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires an Associate Degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience
Paralegal certification
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working with ethics and compliance professionals
Exceptional communications, organization, listening and writing skills
Strong computer technology skills, including managing electronic files in various shared systems
Ability to collaborate effectively and independently with individuals at all levels in the organization
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, independently, as well as collaboratively, and operating under tight deadlines with a broad range of responsibilities
Highly detail-oriented, resourceful and flexible
Experience handling sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality is maintained
Good general knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, labor, ethics and compliance requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
