The role of Senior Analyst Finance Co-Pilot will report to the Senior Manager Culinary Solutions Finance Co-pilot and will be responsible for supporting the Out of Home Culinary Solutions Marketing team as a strategic business partner. The roles provides financial insight and fact based decision making support for the business planning and reporting cycles.
The role provides a great opportunity to be a business partner by providing the team with accurate and timely financial information and analyses, making and implementing sound recommendations to profitably grow the business, as well as optimizing existing product portfolios. You will operate as a key Co-Pilot resource, supporting the Senior Finance Manager in streamlining processes and implementing standard methodologies across the businesses. Key areas of responsibility include new product feasibility, business portfolio optimization, and commercial investment return on investment analyses, ongoing business reviews, and special projects.
You have the ability to think strategically while dealing with complexity, be comfortable with ambiguity, prioritize workload efficiently in an environment of competing objectives, and effectively interact, collaborate and communicate across multiple functions to promote alignment and influence business results.
Responsibilities:
- Supports Period End Close (PEC) processes, ensure P&L financial integrity/accuracy, performs variance analysis to inform future forecasting (YTD performance/YTG forecasting)
- Operates as a key lead resource, supporting the Senior Finance Manager in streamlining processes and implementing best practices across the businesses. Key areas include new product/product renovation feasibility, business optimization, commercial investment ROI analyses, and ongoing business reviews.
- Provides decision support to marketing team and senior management. Supports business with accurate financial analysis of new product proposals.
- Supports the Monthly Business Planning process and works closely with cross functional business partners to understand key inputs for Dynamic Forecast, risks and opportunities to forecast, and makes recommendations to improve forecast accuracy.
- New product feasibility and business case development: Works with a broad cross-functional team including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Technical & Production, Research & Development, and other Finance groups to translate assumptions into sound financials.
- Assists with adhoc requests & projects that may include but not limited to streamline or automate processes, reduce business or process complexities or waste, implement new processes, evaluate new product platform / channel / customer strategies, and perform advanced excel modeling, etc.
