GIS Intern at ACC Inc (Hourly)Job Description Summary:
With supervision, will perform general administrative duties and/or research functions to develop a working knowledge of a specific area of study.The ACC Incubator for Professional Skills (ACC Inc) is seeking a highly motivated individual for part-time Geographic Information System (GIS) Intern positions. The project team will be managed by GIS Professor Sean Moran. Selected interns will use Trimble SiteVision, Trimble HPS2 handheld GPS receiver, and iPhone Max to collect, validate, and document 5-15 photo identifiable GCPs for each ACC campus and property. The photo identifiable GCPs will be used to provide an accurate, precise, and common survey network for locating and aligning geospatial data for each campus, and will include one ACC GIS Intern and one UT Field Intern. Interns will work in the ACC Inc office at the Highland Campus across from the GIS Lab during training.
