Associate Buyer, Procurement

The Procurement Associate- Supplier Onboarding plays a critical role in enabling and supporting suppliers on our P2P platforms. This role ensures that suppliers are successfully onboarded and enabled for transactions, helping streamline procurement and invoicing processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and familiar with Coupa or other procurement systems Manage end-to-end supplier onboarding process via ERP, including profile setup, registration, and enablement.

Job Duties:

• Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers during onboarding, providing support, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procurement standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Field Operations, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and IT to resolve onboarding issues and improve process efficiency.
• Maintain onboarding documentation and support materials to assist suppliers through the registration process.
• Monitor onboarding progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage inquiries from both internal stakeholders and external suppliers via a central shared inbox — requiring excellent organizational skills and strong written communication to ensure timely and professional responses.
• Identify and escalate issues, delays, or risks impacting onboarding timelines.
• Support Coupa initiatives and process improvement efforts related to supplier enablement.
• Develop and foster strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance collaboration and trust.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, supplier onboarding efficiency, and data governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 1–4 years of experience in supplier onboarding, procurement operations, or vendor management.
• Experience working with Coupa (or similar platforms like Ariba, SAP, Oracle) strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in guiding external partners.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other productivity tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related functions, with direct involvement in supplier onboarding and data management
• Proficient in supplier onboarding processes, including vendor registration, documentation collection,compliance checks, and internal coordination
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to work with Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF formulas, data cleaning) to analyze and present supplier or procurement-related data· 
• Skilled in creating clear, concise, and visually engaging presentations (PowerPoint or similar) to communicate onboarding status, supplier performance, and process improvements
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills – able to collaborate across departments (e.g.,
• Field Operations, AP, Legal, IT, Compliance) and with suppliers to resolve issues and drive progress
• Strong relationship-building abilities with both internal teams and external vendors
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple onboarding requests or tasks simultaneously
• Experience with procurement tools or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle, Ariba) is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred
