MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Telecommunications Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role!

  • Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support.

  • Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.

  • Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.

  • Performs a variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.

  • Prepares and presents a variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.

  • Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel.

  • May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

  • May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)

  • Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications systems to meet operational standards.

  • Monitors the operations of telecommunications systems and services of vendors.

  • Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.

  • Plans and coordinates all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.

  • Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.

  • Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications systems.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your telecommunications and networking expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Telecommunications Analyst must have:

  • Technical training and 3+ years of related telecommunications/networking experience
  • CompTIA Sec+ or DoD 8140 equivalent
  • Previous experience with providing end-user training of telecommunications features and functionality

The likely salary range for this position is $70,720 - $95,680. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
