Qualifications 

SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES

The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for the cleanliness of building.  Plans and oversees the execution of housekeeping activities throughout all property facilities.
Responsible for staff schedules including but not limited to housekeeping supervisors, porters, laundry attendants, rooms attendants and uniforms.  
Establish cleaning requirements for the building. Is also responsible for identifying and communicating to Maintenance staff the need for repair or preventive maintenance to structural or mechanical property of the Enterprise.
Develop and manage the department budget. 
Oversee and control the ordering of cleaning supplies and oversee a cleaning program for all building equipment and will maintain inventory and stock control of necessary supplies.  
Select and monitor vendors and subcontract labor for performance and value. 
Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, disciplining, and motivating the housekeeping staff.
Ensures compliance with all Laws, Regulations and Ordinances that apply to departmental operations.
Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately.
Other duties as assigned.

PREREQUISITES

General:   Must be age 21 or older.  Must qualify for a Tribal Key Gaming license. Must possess a valid Driver’s License.    

                          Education:   High school diploma or GED required.  Education and/or training in hospitality experience preferred. 

                           Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace. 

Experience:  Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial building housekeeping or facility management.  Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.

Physical:  Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, grasping, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination.
