Role description:

We are currently seeking to fill the role of Environmental Restoration (ER) Technical Solution Leader (TSL) for Arcadis US. This position partners with the Arcadis Construction Services (ACS) Leader as part of the ER Solution.   This important position reports to the Resilience Environment Sales Director and dotted-line reports to the ER Global Solutions Director. ER is the largest of Arcadis' Technical Solutions in North America, is an area in which we are recognized as an industry leader and represents a cornerstone of our business. ER includes our longstanding core disciplines including without limitation, Site Investigation, Remediation, Sediments, Hydrogeology, Risk Assessment and Toxicology, and Engineering & Treatment Systems. The role also oversees the ER Sector Solution Leaders assigned to each Market Sector, as well as the ER Growth Platforms: Emerging Contaminants, Incident Response and Recovery, Radiological Solutions, and Critical Minerals.

You will be responsible for leading our ER team in developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our clients' needs in these areas, emerging issues, evolving market trends, positioning of our competitors and the development of industry-leading insights, and differentiated, value-added technical solution strategies in alignment with our global strategy. This is a senior, market-facing technical leadership position that will work collaboratively with our Market Sector Leaders and Account Leaders to deliver an unparalleled Client Experience. You will work with the Services Teams/COPs to drive innovation and technical excellence in the ER disciplines that are valued by our clients and can be commercialized.

Role accountabilities:

• Leads the development and execution of the Technical Solution strategy in line with the US and Global Business Area strategy through annual and multi-year plans, motivate teams to success and adjust as appropriate, while driving overall growth in ER revenue, bookings and margin to meet or exceed planned targets.  Responsible for year-over-year organic net revenue growth of the ER solution.
• Maintains a keen understating of technical developments in industry, emerging trends and issues and brings these insights to the ER team to drive development of innovative solutions and differentiated value propositions, while coordinating the visibility of Arcadis at, and participating in, industry conferences and meetings.
• Works closely with technology and digital teams to develop digital tools and processes that are specific to ER services. With a focus on standardization and automation.
• Leads the ER Team to develop discipline-specific plans and translate and implement these into concrete objectives, actions, and outcomes
• Works closely with Market Sector Leaders, Technical Experts and Business Area leadership to develop, apply and improve strategic marketing and drive key hiring for ER. Assists others with developing new, and expanding existing, client relationships and will engage in direct client contact to strengthen relationships.
• Leads and coaches the ER Team providing a clear vision, goals and objectives and propositions to market. Drives replication of success within ER across client accounts. Actively participates and contributes to the Global ER Solution team, supporting the export of industry-leading insights and expertise to other countries.
• Recruits, develops, and manages employees, coaching and mentoring them to achieve high performance, growth and personal development.
• Leverage Arcadis' disruptive business models, Resilience Field and Portfolio Solutions (RFPS) and the Global Excellence Centers (GEC) as competitive differentiators when providing solutions to clients
