Raise the bar for Logistics

As our new Senior Logistics Manager you will have the overall responsibility of leading and managing the logistics team by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and wellbeing, and a workplace that promotes diversity and develops all employees for future needs. You will responsible for all logistics operations at site, across all warehouses, encompassing transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.

 

To be successful in this role you have established yourself as a strong leader with professional pride and knowledge of Logistics operations.

 

As our new Senior Logistics Manager you will join a dedicated Site leadership team and will refere directly to Senior Site Director, you ensure agreed deliverables by means of an optimal organization and Logistics process.

 

Your key responsibilities include:  

 

• You will ensuring a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment at Holstebro.
• Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with Arla Foods’ standards, policies as well as applicable law and Health, Safety & Food safety procedures and mindset. High food safety and quality is  a natural part of our culture
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Operation, QEHS,  E2E planning, procurement etc. to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
• Strategic Planning & Process Improvement: Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve service levels. We are a "Category Stronghold" dairy that drives growth with the customer in focus
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with logistics service providers, support to procurement when negotiating contracts, and manage performance and follow-up on SLA agreements.
