We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Director of Technical Program Manager for Security to join our team, reporting to our Chief Information Security Officer. You will lead a team of Program Managers, focused on Security initiatives, as well as lead cross-functional security programs to implement security measures, navigate regulatory requirements, and drive collaboration across various departments to achieve our security objectives. 

What You'll Do

  • Define and build comprehensive plans for a Technical Program Management team focused on security programs.
  • Define plans for program management across top-priority security initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables, to guide the successful execution and delivery of objectives.
  • Recruit top security Technical Program Managers to execute on security program initiatives.
  • Lead the planning, tracking, and execution of cross-functional security initiatives including security enhancements, vulnerability management, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure program success and effectiveness.
  • Provide detailed reports and status updates on security programs at the task level, to ensure proper visibility of details are shared with decision makers.
  • Collaborate with other TPMs within the CoreWeave to ensure programs are aligned and act as a Security Team liaison to other parts of the business needing Security Services.
  • Own the Security Service Catalog, enabling business teams and stakeholders to easily engage and consult with the Security team and services.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and communicate program requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with critical objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication among various teams to ensure alignment and successful program execution.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align program objectives and secure necessary resources and support.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to Security initiatives throughout the programs overseen and proactively communicate to relevant stakeholders to drive resolutions and minimize impact.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes for program management within the company.
  • Facilitate clear and concise communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and understanding of program objectives, progress, and challenges.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility to senior management and executive stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on security and compliance, preferably in large technology or public cloud service providers
  • Strong experience reporting program status to executive management and senior leadership
  • Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices across various domains, including network security, application security, data protection, and data center security protocols
  • Experience with security risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response programs and processes
  • Experience with cloud technologies and cloud security frameworks
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects and programs from initiation to completion
  • Strong expertise in utilizing Jira, Excel and other data management tools to collect, aggregate and report on data/ build metrics for executive and team views
