Location Status: Work will be primarily performed at a designated field worksite location based out of a central Race Communications worksite. Occasional travel to and work from other Race offices or other off-site locations may be required.

Position Impact:
The Network Facilities Technician Engineer is responsible, for maintaining network infrastructure to support reliable and efficient communication services. With a focus on physical facilities and equipment, this role involves overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components at various sites such as overhead Framing, DC Plants, Cable Stitching, relay racks, Switches, Servers, cable termination and testing. respond to Electrical outages, telecom disruptions, and security systems. These systems include, generators, DC Plants, ATS’, & PDU’srouters, switches, servers, and cables. The Network Facilities Technician Engineer collaborates closely with network engineers and other Race team members stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of telecommunications networks, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates implements solutions to optimize network performance and reliability. With a strong understanding of network technologies and infrastructure, as well as expertise in facility Safety management practices, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality telecommunications services to customers.
This individual should be able to communicate and work effectively with external service representatives and internal team members who possess a wide variety of backgrounds, personalities, and communication skills. This individual should be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment while maintaining a productive professional demeanor. This individual must be capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with other Race team members across teams and levels of our organization.
