The Job
The Sr. Property Accountant is responsible for a range of general accounting duties, consolidation, and financial analysis/projects.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for inter-company billings and reconciliations, analysis, and/or reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly financial packages, assist with the preparation of month-end closing journal entries.
- Provide schedules/reconciliations for public and internal auditors.
- Responsible for bank reconciliations and recording daily banking activity.
- Responsible for preparing and filing of various government reports.

Requirements
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
- 2 or more years of general accounting experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with General Ledger systems helpful.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; communicate or listen. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
