The Global Logistics Risk Management & Business Resilience – Regional Lead serves as the primary interface between Global Logistics Risk & Resilience programs and regional/market supply chain teams. This role is accountable for driving consistent execution of global standards within the region, ensuring regional risks are identified, assessed, escalated, and managed in alignment with the global framework.

Acting as a conduit between global functions and regional operations, the Regional Lead enables two‑way information flow—translating global requirements into practical regional execution while elevating regional insights, risks, and constraints to global leadership.

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

Regional Program Execution & Site Oversight

  • Oversee deployment and ongoing execution of the Global Logistics Risk Management & Compliance framework, ensuring alignment to global standards, governance, and ways of working.
  • Partner closely with regional supply chain, logistics, quality, and compliance leaders to embed risk management and resilience practices into regional operations.
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for all Global Logistics Risk Management & Compliance operational areas, coordinating stakeholder alignment and regional execution.
  • Ensure consistent application of risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and escalation processes, including documentation, governance adherence, and timely escalation of identified or potential risk events.

Regional Risk Identification, Visibility & Escalation

  • Proactively identify regional and market‑specific logistics risks (operational, compliance, safety, and reputational).
  • Ensure timely documentation, validation, and escalation of identified risks or potential risks into the Global Risk Register in accordance with defined parameters and governance.
  • Provide regional risk insights, trends, and emerging threats to the Global Logistics Risk Management & Business Resilience Lead to inform enterprise‑level prioritization and decision‑making.

Business Resilience & Disruption Preparedness

  • Support regional logistics sites and third‑party partners in developing, maintaining, and exercising business continuity and disruption response plans aligned to global expectations.
  • Coordinate regional preparedness, response, and recovery activities during significant logistics disruptions or risk events, partnering with global teams as required.
  • Interface with the Global Command Center to ensure lessons learned from regional incidents and near‑misses are captured and reviewed to strengthen resilience maturity and prevent recurrence.

Stakeholder Engagement & Information Flow

  • Act as the single regional interface between Global Logistics Risk & Compliance leadership and regional/market teams.
  • Translate global program requirements, priorities, and updates into clear, actionable guidance for regional stakeholders.
  • Aggregate and elevate regional feedback, constraints, and improvement opportunities to global functions to continuously refine the program.

In-house & Third‑Party Network Risk Support

  • Partner with regional teams to support in-house and third‑party logistics provider (LSP) risk and compliance oversight, ensuring alignment to global expectations across the supplier lifecycle.
  • Support regional assessments, audits, and health checks by ensuring follow‑up actions and risk mitigations are tracked and completed.
