Introduction to Role:
Our cloud platform will play a crucial part in the success of Evinova as the foundation for our current and future digital products. We are creating a dynamic and innovative team to take our organization to the forefront of technology solutions for the life sciences industry. We are committed to delivering innovative, secure, and regulated experiences for our customers. As we begin our journey, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Data Architect that can understand large, complex data integration landscapes and drive optimal data model and data pipeline solutions.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead as a data expert, innovate, and make a significant impact on our ability to meet customer needs. An ideal candidate should be a creative problem solver who can identify and deeply understand challenges and opportunities for Evinova customers and products. This role presents an opportunity to join Evinova from the beginning, implementing a market-leading, foundational platform designed by industry, for industry.
Accountabilities:
- Data Architecture: Experience working with complex data systems, reverse-engineering, and understanding data requirements of disparate systems to build out a singular data architecture across and entire platform, and/or individual applications.
- Data Flow: Able to map how data flows through a system from start to finish and through that process optimize.
- Database Engineering: Experience in building SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB) databases.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the applications and services meets all regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry, including data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards by working work the appropriate quality teams and following the expected processes needed.
- Security and Data Protection: Work with the Cyber Security teams to develop and maintain robust security access controls, encryption, and data protection, to safeguard sensitive pharmaceutical data within our deployments, security and compliance checks, and operations for the application, its services, and database.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Help implement monitoring and analytics tools to track platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization for data systems and data flow.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and customer support, to ensure platform alignment with customer requirements and company goals.
- Quality Assurance: Work with and develop a strong repeatable process with our QA teams to ensure data integrity, security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations for delivering and maintaining platform services.
