Children’s Home Society is currently seeking a Clinical Unit Supervisor to manage activities in a trauma informed manner and provide clinical supervision and supervise the provision of individual and group therapy and case management to children and their families within the residential and school programs.  


What You'll Do:

  • Model and teach others what a trauma informed care approach is with children in the milieu during the daily routine and in training.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, prepare treatment plan reviews and discharge summaries with treatment team. Consult with psychiatrist and psychologist.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to children, including case management, individual sessions, group therapy, milieu treatment, arranging family contacts/home visits and overseeing the child’s treatment and care in residence/school. 
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to families, including family therapy and support services to individual family members, as well as parent training.
  • Complete assessments and other documentation during the child’s evaluation phase of treatment.
  • Monitor performance and conduct one-on-one meetings and reviews. Provide encouraging and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure clinical therapists are providing therapy and case management. Ensure clinical therapists’ treatment plans meet all standards and are timely.
  • Screen, interview and hire staff.
  • Keep direct care staff informed of family visits and planned home visits.
  • Orient and train new employees. Provide individual and team support and professional development to staff.
  • Maintain communication between residence and school to ensure treatment consistency.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with some evening and weekend work.  


Compensation: $60,900-$76,000 annually (Depending Upon Experience)

Requirements

Experience/Education/Skills:

Master’s Degree in a Human Service Discipline required.

Minimum of 5 years clinical experience with children and/or adolescents.
