Alto Pharmacy is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Compliance Specialist to be a general resource for all pharmacy and healthcare compliance matters. You will be responsible for Alto Policy and Procedure governance, including the creation, revision and storage of all Alto Pharmacy policies and procedures. You will track and assist in the creation of all employee training and education and be a champion for compliance training and a good-will ambassador for the Alto compliance program. You will help assign role-based compliance curriculum and underscore the importance of proper and up-to-date compliance training completion as well as discipline for non-compliance. You will help establish URAC, NABP, and ACHC accreditation and advise the business when policies and practices affect these accreditations.

- Strategic Compliance Leadership:
- Lead the selection and implementation of an enhanced Learning Management Software (LMS) for comprehensive tracking of compliance and general training.
- Work with Learning & Development teams to elevate Alto Pharmacy's compliance training program, ensuring it meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to sync on Alto’s role-based training curriculum.
- Accreditation Mastery:
- Function as Alto's in-house accreditation expert, overseeing the establishment and maintenance of URAC, NABP, and ACHC accreditations.
- Provide advice and work cross-functionally with stakeholders on policies and practices affecting accreditation.
- Policy Governance and Innovation:
- Lead Alto Pharmacy's policy and procedure governance program.
- Think 10x on internal and external opportunities for policy management.
- Conduct gap analyses and assist in creating or refining policies and procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance initiatives into company goals and objectives.
- Regulatory Mastery and Proactive Initiatives:
- Stay informed about evolving regulatory and accreditation changes.
- Initiate proactive measures to address emerging trends and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
A Bit About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in monitoring training and education through Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience in policy management and governance
- In-depth knowledge of URAC/NABP/ACHC accreditation requirements, including the acquisition and renewal processes
- 10+ years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare compliance
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to build and scale efficient operations
- Understanding of the strategic use of software to enhance business processes
- Collaborates effectively, demonstrating robust interpersonal and adept problem-solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CHC accreditation from the HCCA
- Knowledge of multi-state pharmacy operations
- Knowledge of the shared services pharmacy model
- Experience working in a startup, fast-paced company
- Proficient in Google Suite
