Job Purpose:

US Latin office is looking for an engaged student from an accredited law school to join their Legal Team.  Learn from the legal team at an industry-leading music publisher that works with songwriters to deliver the best latin music available. 

What You’ll Do:

• Lead guided research efforts to ensure that all business decisions comply with national and international copyright law.

• Draft, edit and review contracts (including non-disclosure, composer, publishing, sub-publishing and administration agreements) to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects as they arise

Who You Are:

• Must be currently enrolled in a nationally accredited law school

• Proven entertainment industry experience not required but preferred

• Proven experience redlining and editing via Microsoft Word

• You have sound cross-functional collaboration skills, can build relationships internally and instill a sense of solidarity across teams

• You use communication and presentation skills to engage, inspire and influence

• A highly organized person that pays close attention to the details

• You are hungry to learn and grow. You are curious, ask questions and get excited about new projects

• You embrace, support and inspire innovation through a creative and collaborative approach

• Able to adapt quickly to a changing environment with minimal disruption 

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
