Job Purpose:
US Latin office is looking for an engaged student from an accredited law school to join their Legal Team. Learn from the legal team at an industry-leading music publisher that works with songwriters to deliver the best latin music available.
What You’ll Do:
Lead guided research efforts to ensure that all business decisions comply with national and international copyright law.
Draft, edit and review contracts (including non-disclosure, composer, publishing, sub-publishing and administration agreements) to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
Assist with ad-hoc projects as they arise
Who You Are:
Must be currently enrolled in a nationally accredited law school
Proven entertainment industry experience not required but preferred
Proven experience redlining and editing via Microsoft Word
You have sound cross-functional collaboration skills, can build relationships internally and instill a sense of solidarity across teams
You use communication and presentation skills to engage, inspire and influence
A highly organized person that pays close attention to the details
You are hungry to learn and grow. You are curious, ask questions and get excited about new projects
You embrace, support and inspire innovation through a creative and collaborative approach
Able to adapt quickly to a changing environment with minimal disruption
Must be authorized to work in the United States
