About the Role

As a QA Engineer, you’ll develop and maintain test automation frameworks for enterprise web, mobile, and API platforms. You’ll collaborate with distributed teams to enforce best practices in quality, speed, and reliability. Combining your passion for AI and digital transformation with methodical testing, you’ll align testing strategies around marketing services objectives. Through curiosity and positivity, you’ll ensure seamless, high-quality product experiences for global clients.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive test plans for new features, factoring in technical details and the customer experience.
• Proven experience working on multi-functional projects, collaborating with various teams to achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to define test strategies that align with agile methodologies. Participate actively in sprints, ensuring comprehensive coverage from feature grooming to release.
• Champion continuous integration workflows in Jenkins or similar tools, ensuring test suites run automatically and reliably. Investigate failures, track defects, and implement solutions within tight timelines, demonstrating positivity and attention to detail.
• Design and run automated tests to help with the validation of use cases and create a POC to satisfy those requirements.
• Identify fundamental metrics to track the project and team’s success.
• Investigate and debug complex problems, and help drive them to closure.
• Leverage data to influence product quality decisions and champion the customer experience in every phase of the development process.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced development environments with rapid release cycles and tight deadlines.
• POC creation.

 

 

About You

The essentials:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with Python, Swift, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• 5+ years as a QA Engineer or Software Engineer, specializing in test automation.
• Proven hands-on experience with Cypress automation tools or additional tools (selenium webdriver, TestCafe, Appium) a plus.
• Proficiency using Jenkins or comparable CI tools.
• Strong collaboration skills in distributed, agile environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; consulting background preferred.
• Good understanding of development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
• Experience in developing comprehensive test plans, test cases and automating them.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills with a passion for quality.

Not a must, but a plus:

• Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating clear and effective communication across team members and departments.
