Manager, Billing & Revenue Operations

This hybrid role owns the translation of complex SaaS contracts into accurate, timely, and compliant billing and revenue outcomes, while also overseeing collections and ensuring efficient cash realization.</p> <p>You will partner closely with RevOps, Deal Desk, Sales and Finance leadership to ensure processes are scalable, audit-ready, and aligned with business growth. This role requires a balance of hands-on operational execution, strong judgement, and process ownership, with a focus on automation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional alignment.</p> <p><strong>Please Note: </strong>This role requires working from the Recorded Future office in Boston, MA at least 2 days per week, with additional team and company events/onsite meetings as needed.</p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></h3> <p>Billing Operations &amp; Collections</p> <ul> <li>Own global billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoice generation aligned with contract terms, pricing structures, and booking policies</li> <li>Manage the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle post-Closed Won, including billing setup, validation, and delivery</li> <li>Ensure alignment across Salesforce, contract terms, and NetSuite to minimize downstream errors and revenue impact</li> <li>Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing issues, disputes, and exceptions</li> <li>Lead collections processes, including AR aging, follow-ups, and dispute resolution</li> <li>Monitor and drive performance against key metrics such as DSO, past due balances, and collection effectiveness</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate cash application and reconciliation</li> </ul> <p>Revenue Accounting</p> <ul> <li>Lead and own month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and revenue flux commentary</li> <li>Perform and review contract analyses under ASC 606, including assessment of performance obligations, variable consideration, SSP allocation, and pricing changes</li> <li>Stay current on ASC 606/IFRS15 and related US GAAP authoritative literature; perform and document technical accounting research as needed</li> <li>Serve as the primary billing-to-revenue liaison, ensuring contract setup and billing schedules align with recognition requirements and downstream
