Research Assistant Professor

Description

The Department of Sociology the University of Chicago invites applications for a Research Assistant Professor in the area of environmental sociology. The primary activity of a Research Assistant Professor is academic research in association with a faculty member or team. 

Qualifications

Applicants must have a PhD in hand by the start of the appointment. Applicants must have an established research agenda focused on any matters related to climate and/or the environment. Applicants should have a demonstrated record of highly innovative scholarship, intellectual rigor, and an ambitious research agenda.
