We primarily serve low-income and justice-involved individuals who are seeking to change their life for the better. Job Summary
The Executive Director of Project Development is responsible for the development of the 80-bed behavioral health residential program; hiring and managing of the staff; developing a curriculum and day-to-day operations of the site.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Provide a project plan for the development of an 80-bed residential facility to include the staffing pattern, curriculum, and program requirements.
• Implement and manage the plan using a tracking tools such as a gantt chart or similar tool.
• Act as administrator for site prior to opening and after opening the facility.
• Assist with licensing and compliance standards for the facility and maintain them annually.
• Identify, analyze, and develop technical and operational processes.
• Responsible for hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and professional development of staff.
• Provide expert knowledge of workforce forecasting and planning to ensure necessary staffing levels to support demand.
• Develop & instill strong, positive program culture among staff, clients, and families.
• Participate in strategic meetings with the executive team and report weekly on progress.
• Maximize employee satisfaction, development, and performance through goal setting, performance management practices, and employee culture-building initiatives.
• Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans, operational goals, and performance metrics that drive productivity.
• Implement compliance and quality initiatives, facilitate program evaluation, and provide progress reports to leadership team.
• Participates in the development and monitoring of the facility budget.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the facility’s policies, goals, and objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Working knowledge of self-help programs, including (but not limited to) AA, NA, SMART Recovery, and Celebrate Recovery.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Internet software; Payroll systems; Email software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Education and Experience
Master's degree in counseling, psychology or related field including state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LCSW, LAC, LMSW, LPC, LASAC, LISAC, or LMFT).
