Senior Manager, Market Development & Payor Relations
The Senior Manager of Market Development and Payor Relations will play a key role in driving Strive Care Partners’ expansion in the coming years. This person will Oversee end-to-end market launch process from strategy development through 90 days post go-live for Strive Care Partners primary care programs, working cross functionally to ensure markets are set up for a successful, timely launch. Additionally, the Senior Manager will own Payor relations for Strive Care Partners’ portfolio of full risk contracts nationally, including leading implementation, account management, and expansion opportunities.
Essential Functions
New Market Planning & Implementation:
- Work closely with Business Development and finance to develop business case to define market-specific priorities for success
- Collaborate with operations to develop new market operating model design and entrance strategy, including staffing, site of care, and high-impact clinical programs
- Oversee and coordinate all cross functional teams including Product, Technology, Legal, Revenue Cycle, Credentialling, and Finance to ensure that product design is delivered and implemented within first ninety days of market operations
- Develop strategies to engage payors to expand scope of value-based contracts in market
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal implementation efforts and processes
Payor Relations:
- Oversee account management function for Strive Care Partners contracts with local market payors
- Participate in and support contracting efforts for new value-based care contracts with payors
- Lead end-to-end implementation efforts of new payor contracts across Strive stakeholders including technology, actuarial, clinical, quality, operations, RCM, and others
- Serve as primary point of contact with payor to spearhead implementation efforts and hold payor accountable for achieving deliverables on appropriate timelines toward go-live
- Own relationship with key points of contact within payor throughout term of Strive’s contract with payor
- Plan and Lead JOCs with Strive and Payor stakeholders to identify and resolve barriers to operational and relational success
- Build team to support and execute on Payor Relations activities as contract portfolio expands
- Drive towards contract expansion and renewal throughout contract life cycle
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic achievement
- 5+ years’ experience, with focus in consulting or high growth healthcare organization
- Business travel
- Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare experience required
- Ideal candidates have experience in value-based care
- Experience working with external clients
- High EQ and ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external partners
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort in ambiguity; desire to be a self-starter
Annual Salary Range: $107,400.00-$134,200.00
Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits. An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
