What you can expect

As a Revenue Accounting Analyst within the Revenue Accounting and Operations team, you will leverage your accounting expertise and data analytics skills to deliver actionable insights. Your work will directly support the enhancement of key processes, including revenue accounting, cash application, and accounts receivable. You will use tools such as Snowflake to write and optimize SQL queries, and build dashboards and reports that enable smarter, faster business decisions. About the Team

Our accounting team provides services to Zoom's global organization. In compliance with the SEC filing requirements for US public corporations and all statutory filing requirements for our international subsidiaries, we prepare and submit the necessary financial statements. Our team’s portfolio includes an array of different segments from accounts payable to mergers and acquisitions. We also work with our external audit companies to coordinate the Corporate and any Statutory audits.

Responsibilities

• Developing, updating, and optimizing SQL queries in Snowflake to extract, transform, and analyze data for revenue accounting, cash applications, accounts receivable, and vendor payment processes.

• Building and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau (or similar tools) to monitor revenue metrics, automate reconciliations, and highlight anomalies for early issue detection.

• Supporting month-end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis, and preparing revenue disclosures for SEC filings (10-Q/10-K).

• Streamlining manual accounting and reporting workflows by developing scalable data models, automated reports, and dashboard refresh processes.

• Partnering with AR, Billing Support, Data Science, Payments, and other teams to define data requirements, deliver ad-hoc analyses, and support audit activities.

• Maintaining documentation for SQL logic, dashboards, and KPIs to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.

What we’re looking for

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related analytical field, along with 2–3 years of experience in a Big-4 public accounting or consulting firm.

• Demonstrate experience with SQL (querying, joining, aggregating large tables)—Snowflake expertise is a big plus.

• Demonstrate proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and advanced Excel for building reports, dashboards, and analytics.

• Possess understanding of order-to-cash workflows and revenue recognition processes.

• Support audit readiness through familiarity with SOX and internal control frameworks.

• Demonstrate knowledge of Zuora (subscriptions, billing, revenue automation) and payment systems (Stripe, Adyen, PayPal).

• Demonstrate ability to apply AI tools to enhance and accelerate data analysis.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$65,400.00

Maximum:

$158,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
