Overview
Work as a member of the manufacturing team to perform functions as product and assembly process documentation, problem solving, and other duties as assigned.
Semester
- Ability to begin work this summer and possibly into the 2025 - 2026 school year.
Professional Qualifications
Education
Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in English, Communication, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a closely related field. A junior status or higher in college preferred.
Experience
-
Prior experience in a manufacturing facility, research, or academic research setting is desirable but not necessary.
General

- Attention to detail in both task execution and documentation.

Position Responsibilities
Specific
- Shadowing production assembly to assist in the creation of assembly documentation
- Work with technical writing team on adapting current instructions into manufacturing execution system (MES)
- Support our Lean Six Sigma improvement projects
- Own transfer and revision control of process documentation
- Assist engineers with a variety of documentation tasks
General
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
- Software training will be provided, as necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
