About the role

Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking two Multilingual Program Paraeducators for the 2026-2027 school year at Chippewa Middle School.


Position Information:


This is a full time, 10 month, 180 day school year position, and will work with ML students in various educational settings.  Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Paraprofessional license from the Illinois State Board of Education: https://www.isbe.net/Documents/What-is-Paraprofessional.pdf    Please see the attached job description for more information.   Spanish or Russian speaking preferred.

District Information:

District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information:

The position starting salary is $19.10 per hour including fully paid individual health benefits.  (Those with 3 years of experience as a paraeducator or who hold a Bachelors degree will have a starting salary of $20.10 per hour.)

Selection Procedure:
