Team: Our dynamic Machine Maintenance Team and plays a crucial role in supporting our cutting-edge additive, subtractive, and other manufacturing processes.
What you’ll do: Support our additive, subtractive and other manufacturing teams from a maintenance role, including friction stir welders, CNC tube benders, powder bed fusion 3D printers, CNC Mills and Lathes, Manual Mills and Lathes, EDM’s, downdraft tables, and more.
What you need to know:
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance and/or operation of powder bed fusion additive manufacturing machinery, CNC mills and lathes, EDMs, or related industrial equipment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams.
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Must be comfortable operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
- Must be open to working overtime when needed.
Nice to haves but not required:
- Completion of apprenticeship or factory training on products we current use in our day-to-day operations.
- Experience in diagnosis and repair of Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, or Haas controls.
- CAD/CAM software experience, PLC Ladder diagnostic experience, especially Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
