Reporting to: National Sales Manager
Responsibilities
• Has a thorough understanding of our company’s policies, procedures, products and services and capabilities to serve our
customers. Serves as a resource and provides leadership to less experienced product managers on complex issues.
• Serves as a mentor by providing training and guidance to less experienced product managers.
• Ensure that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
• Works with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Defines the product strategy and roadmap.
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
• Be an expert with respect to competition.
• Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
• Perform product demos to customers.
• Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
• Develop sales tools and demo tools for exhibitions.
• Propose an overall budget to ensure success.
• Develop product training programs for internal and external use.
• Train the sales force and internal staff at quarterly sales meetings.
• Act as a leader within the company.
• Develop advertising strategy together with Marketing and Sales to increase brand and product recognition.
• Participate in developing, setting-up and working trade shows.
• Function as a technical resource for inside and outside sales.
• Works together with Marketing and Sales to develop promotional materials and digital content for our website and digital
marketing activities.
• Makes inventory recommendations identifying stocking quantities and recommendations for new products to be added to
inventory and recommendations for products to be obsoleted.
• Work with Marketing and Engineering to develop product use instructions.
• Support Engineering for new product development.
• Keeps the supervisor aware in a timely manner of any issues needing the supervisor’s involvement as well as any changes in
customer or industry trends.
• Maintains timely and accurate records and reports, as required.

• High school education with at least some college education in a related field is required. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is
