This role will report to our Global Head of Real Estate and Workplace and will be responsible for managing a distributed team of Workplace Managers across North America and LATAM. You will partner with local leadership, cross-functional global teams, and Workplace teams to grow and scale our regional locations and help your direct reports consistently deliver an excellent in-office experience for all Adyen teams. Strong partnership and communication skills are crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for the Workplace Management team across all office locations for the North America and LATAM regions; lead and mentor your direct reports and promote a growth environment; support them in managing all workplace experience programs that support a great in-office experience including food service and events
- Lead, create and own cross-functional meetings, create communication pathways and bring different operational teams together into a single force with the same goal of delivering functional, fun, productive, safe and creative workplace environments that align with the Adyen formula
- Be responsible for the successful holistic operations and workplace experience of all offices assigned in your region, directing the creative implementation of workplace programs in each office while aligning to the global approach
- Partner with Country Managers, local Site Leads, and HR Partners to understand the unique needs of each Adyen location and help the Workplace Managers drive engagement in each location
- Partner with the EMEA and APAC workplace team leads to drive office operational global strategy; work closely with the Global head of Real Estate and Workplace to create and drive strategic initiatives in the Workplace sphere
- Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, Sustainability, Events, Onboarding, and others to develop strong workplace programs and processes that support growth and a strong population experience
- Lead and help your direct reports with all vendor RFPs and contracts including evaluation of overall performance management, KPIs and SLAs; Assist in maintaining compliance with all local regulations and budget management
- Partner closely with Workplace Strategy functions to develop and deliver on strategic policies and processes, including but not limited to occupancy planning strategy, internal work request management, comms strategy, hospitality and events strategy, workplace experience program strategy
- Partner closely with the Workplace Safety & Security team to support the delivery of their programs and ensure a safe office environment, providing advocacy and support for the onsite security teams and work with direct reports to understand and maintain safety and security programs locally
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of Workplace Management experience
- Minimum of 5 years of managing direct reports
- Strong communication skills across all levels of an organization
- Experience working in a global organization a plus
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a way that drives results
- 25-30% travel time required, passport mandatory
