The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the U.S. Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.  

 

The Director, Marketing Strategic Enablement will be responsible for ensuring Consumer Marketing operates in accordance with our promises to cardmembers and meets all regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will define and activate a new strategy and programmatic infrastructure that enables strong compliance and controls for marketing execution.   

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Own the roadmap and delivery of risk management documentation, reporting, process enhancements, risk mitigation initiatives, and capability development  
  • Partner with USCM teams to assess and optimize key marketing processes, ensuring the relevant procedures, controls, and testing are in place to maintain ongoing compliance and operational excellence
  • Develop and implement process and partner engagement strategy to ensure ongoing maintenance of key risk management activities across USCM 
  • Liaise closely with Control Management and the Business Operations team to ensure USCM complies with Enterprise and external governance needs 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Risk management and compliance knowledge, with experience in governance frameworks  
  • Strong leadership and partnership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams through transformation with clarity and confidence 
  • Ability to balance risk-first mindset while maintaining business agility 
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in an evolving environment, comfort working in white space, and a bias towards action
  • Experience building and developing a high performing team  

Minimum Qualifications

 

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
