Job Description

 

Security Officer – Retail Site in Downtown Chicago

Are you looking for a rewarding career in security? We’re hiring Security Officers to protect and serve at a retail site near Michigan Avenue's Magnificent Mile. 

Starting Pay: $17.50 / hour

Schedule:

• Thursday – Monday (Tuesday & Wednesday OFF)

• 4:00 PM – Midnight (8-hour shifts)

• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and security

• Respond swiftly to incidents and emergencies with professionalism

• Conduct regular patrols inside and around the retail site

• Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 1+ years of security experience (preferred)

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for reports and monitoring

• Strong problem-solving skills and a professional demeanor

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• At least 1 year of professional security experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
