Job Description

Join our Information Security team and make a significant impact by driving data-driven decisions while supporting the critical functions of the Office of the CISO. 

As our Security Data Engineer & Program Manager, you'll be expected to dive deep into data analysis, leveraging advanced techniques and tools to extract meaningful insights. This includes writing complex queries, performing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and creating innovative aggregate and analyze complex data sets. Additionally, you'll be responsible for building and partnering with various stakeholders to maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data integration across various platforms. On the administrative side, you'll be adept at managing project portfolios, coordinating multiple initiatives, driving towards successful and efficient execution of business objectives, and ensuring that the Office of the CISO runs smoothly. Your ability to seamlessly transition between technical and administrative tasks will be key to your success. 

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis (Primary Responsibility):

  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets to manage budgets and financial figures.
  • Pull data from various sources to compile comprehensive datasets.
  • Perform data deduplication, cleaning, and correlation tasks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Manage databases and data flows to support business processes.
  • Create dashboards, graphs, and reports to visualize data insights.
  • Generate data-driven forecasts and trend analyses to support decision-making.
  • Design and manage relational and non-relational databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support business requirements.

Administrative Support (Secondary Responsibility):

  • Create and design PowerPoint presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage meetings, including scheduling, coordinating agendas, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Handle logistics for travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodations.
  • File expense reports and manage reimbursement processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to support various initiatives and tasks needed to support the Office of the CISO.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for executive meetings and events.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in an IT related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the data engineering.
  • Proven experience in data engineering, including working with spreadsheets (Excel, Smartsheets, Google sheets, SharePoint lists, etc), databases, and data flows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint).
  • Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and creating data-driven reports.
