Kitchen Maintenance Lead - Full Time (Harrah's Laughlin)

JOB SUMMARY:  Banquet stewarding knowledge preferred.  Must possess excellent communication skills, deliver excellent customer service and possess strong leadership and organizational skills.  Must be able to understand and speak English.  Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.  Must present a well-groomed appearance.

 

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Assists Supervisor with monthly inventory of Stewarding equipment.  Ensures all kitchen equipment is in proper working condition. Works closely with all Stewards, Assistant Executive Steward and Executive Steward to ensure kitchen operations are maintained.  Maintains service standards for restaurant outlets. Investigates issues pertaining to poor service and makes recommendation to improve service. Must be able to clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment in a safe manner.  Responsible for cleanliness of all kitchen outlets. Cleans and stocks supplies, such as, plates, silverware, pots, pans and other utensils. Must be able to maintain the proper level of sanitation in accordance with health department and Stewarding standards in all kitchen outlets. Cleans and sanitizes all China and flatware. Stocks supplies (plates, silverware, pots, pans and other utensils). Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:  2 years’ experience, Health card
