Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented C2BMC Warfighter Liaison to join our team! In this role you will become a member of the Parsons’ TEAMS NEXT support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Networks organization (BCN). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of telecommunication systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide engineering, technical, and project management expertise to BCN to develop and deploy robust, end-to-end, high availability, test and operational communication networks for the sharing of information across all MDS assets.
- Represent the C2BMC Program Office in Warfighter Engagement events as a System level SME.
- Advocate for the Warfighters in C2BMC Development meetings.
Assist the government with overseeing the Prime Contractor on development of the C2BMC.
Develop facility requirements and participate in facility design reviews. Coordinate the installation of facility requirements.
Facilitate working groups and technical interchange meetings.
Integrate new sensor system components into a missile defense system.
Draft/brief information/decision papers/briefings and staff coordination packages for senior leadership.
Perform assessments of detailed network test data.
Travel up to 25%.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Master's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.
Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with Missile Defense System
- Ability to interface across multiple MDA and C2NT organizations, all levels of military leadership and development team members.
- Familiarity with US and Allied Missile Defense System that support this Ballistic Missile and Space Defense mission requirements.
- Understanding of MDS Data protection requirements as it applies to the Area of Responsibility you might be assigned to support.
- Understanding of the requirements review and design review process.
- Understanding of how requirements are flowed down from system specifications to elements specification.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Top Secret clearance
- Prior Military experience at the Combatant or Component Command Staff level, and/or at Tactical Missile and Air Defense systems.
- Understanding of Operational Interoperability as it applies to the Missile Defense System.
- Understanding of the Space Domain Awareness and the Missile Defense System Elements support this mission area.
Experience with Tactical data links (Joint Range Extension Protocol (JREAP), Link 16) systems, encryption systems, and Link reporting systems that support Information exchange requirements.
