- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, in the Consumer Electronics, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Experience working with executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing partnerships.
- Experience with online advertising or ad business generation solutions (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Ad Exchange, AdSense, AdMob).
- Experience working in a dynamic, changing, and collaborative environment.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.

The Channel Partnerships team manages third-party relationships with Channel Partners in the region who drive publisher success in the wider ecosystem. Partners offer Value Added Services at Scale to content creators to enable their business growth. The team enables these Channel Partners to build sustainable businesses through direct Account Management to build and maintain a healthy and sustainable Channel Partner Ecosystem.
As a Strategic Partner Development Associate, you will be part of a team within the Global Partnerships organization which is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. You will manage a book of Channel Partners, focused on driving the North America business and you will be working with partners in the market. You will develop relationships with partner executives and work with internal Product and Engineering teams to advocate for adoption of the Google advertising and technical product suite.

The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $82,500-$121,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ad solutions ecosystem, and manage strategic partnerships.
- Develop cross-product area strategic partner initiatives and build go-to-market strategies to meet broader Google goals across changing industries.
- Drive agreements with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners and build consensus with internal and external executives.
- Serve as the relationship manager for current existing agreements and help realize and optimize value from partnerships while building relationships.
- Engage with several internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to incubate, launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.
