Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)

Under the direct supervision of pharmacy administration/staff pharmacist Pharmacy Technician is responsible for filling medication orders, filling patient cassettes, filling and maintaining point-of-care automation, make deliveries and pick-ups to and from the patient care areas in the Operating Room. Responsible for filling of all stock requisitions, unpacking and stocking daily orders, proper storage of all medications, pre-packing of medications, performing assigned floor inspections, keeping track of returned and expired medications, maintaining proper inventory records, following appropriate waste management, IV admixture batching and preparation.

Participate in the quality control in the Operating Room. Work together with the Operating Room administration and staff on quality improvement projects and reports.

Requirements:

Hospital/Retail experience or RUMC Pharmacy internship or externship required and/or completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) program required

Days w/ eo wknd & hols; 7a-3p

Salary Range: $26.272/hr - $27.969/hr
