Raytheon Technologies Supply Chain has an opportunity for an Acquisition Professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. In this high visibility role, you will enjoy a high-level activity and interacting with others. You will procure material for the Raytheon Naval Power Shipboard Missiles strategic business unit. You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers including material program managers, programs, manufacturing, planning, engineering, and mission assurance /quality.
What You Will Do:
Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy for build to print machined parts.
Prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) to suppliers, follow-up to assure understanding.
Review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans / strategies as well as addressing any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes or Raytheon terms and conditions requirements.
Work together with supplier to prepare cost and pricing data in preparation for CAPA review in accordance with TINA.
Formally document purchase orders including details of summary of award; source justification; price analysis methodology; negotiation strategy and summary; performance to budget / target; and risk assessment.
Perform routine post-award management activities including PO acknowledgement, delivery status (upkeep PO notes), expedites, risk mitigation, receiving issues and invoice issues.
Support occasional program travel needs to visit supplier as needed.
Support communication meetings between suppliers and internal customers.
May be required to participate in supplier development activities.
The position is Fully Remote.
Qualifications you Must Have:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advance degree and 3 years.
DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) – ability to place Purchase Orders over TINA dollar threshold.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.
Must be able to handle multiple decisions based on dispersion of workload, program priorities, and program directions
Proficiency to perform and comprehend price analyses, source selection/justification, with guidance as needed
Experience with negotiation of price reductions and terms and conditions
Knowledge of import / export regulations (ITAR/EAR)
SAP System or PRISM experience
Experience working in a Team environment collaborating with Material Program Managers, Operations, Quality, Production Control, Engineering etc.
Ability to learn and effectively apply new tools, processes and procedures
Ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems independently
Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including Statement of Work (SOW) review
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
