Key Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking a Program Security Officer to support a multi-disciplinary team that provides modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). This team conducts exploration of emerging technologies and operating concepts within the context of a complex, large-scale kill web using and advanced, Multi-Level Security (MLS) compliant MS&A and tools and environments. Candidate shall:
- Provide subject matter expertise, assistance, recommendations and hands-on-support to all Special Programs support related activities, to include compliance with DoD and IC policies for marking, handling, and potential future release of classified information.
- Perform day-to-day activities to ensure the timely and accurate development/integration of Special Access Program (SAP) requirements.
- Liaise with government and third-party software developer stakeholders with respect to MLS tool functionality and MLS process and product improvement.
- Support the packaging and dissemination of program documentation in accordance with applicable SCI and SAP policies.
- Understand and enforce procedures for handling SCI, Controlled Access Program (CAP), SAP, and other collateral materials IAW applicable security policies and regulations.
- Interpret written Security Classification Guide (SCG) content and interact with the MS&A tool and environment in order to:
- Instantiate SCG Critical Program Information (CPIs) as logical MLS rulesets in the MS&A environment.
- Inspect simulation output for proper dynamic classification marking based on the instantiated MLS rulesets.
- Provide timely classification management expertise to resolve complex classification management issues.
- Develop innovative techniques to implement MLS training and compliance with established classification management policies.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience
- Active TS//SCI clearance
- Demonstrate experience applying Executive Orders 12333 and 13526; Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) 906 & 705; DoD Directive 5230.11; and DoD Manuals 5200.01, 5200.45, and 5205.07 standards associated with classified national security information, and special access program information
- Must have successfully completed/passed the CDSE course Introduction to Special Access Programs SAP 101.10
- Background in knowledge management systems and documentation control (e.g., SharePoint, records management)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Desired:
- Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related discipline with a strong emphasis on discrete logic, plus 10 years of relevant experience
- Successful completion of Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Special Program Security Credential (SPSC)
- Documented experience as a certified Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO), Classification Management Officer (CMO), Special Access Program Control Officer (SAPCO), or similar position
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, diagrams, and models
- Intermediate level coding skills in a general-purpose programming language such as Python
- Prior military or intelligence community experience
