Program Task Lead - Cost Estimating

ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Task Lead for Cost Estimating to join our team. As the Program Task Lead – Cost Estimating at ARETUM, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the cost estimating function for our projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the cost estimating function for assigned projects, ensuring accurate and timely cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather relevant cost data and develop cost estimates.
• Develop and maintain cost estimating models, tools, and templates to support accurate and efficient estimating processes.
• Analyze cost data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
• Present cost estimates and analysis to project stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cost estimators.

Requirements

• Proven ability to proactively manage and support complex, geographically disparate projects/tasks, including oversight of logistics.
• Secret level security clearance (must be issued by DCSA) (must be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Active PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) during the life of this contract.
• Strong in-depth knowledge of DOS rules and regulations and project management practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing similar IT Governance programs
• Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle Support, process improvement, cost estimating/software benefit-cost analysis, and enterprise risk management support.
