Job Description

Locus Robotics is seeking a Deployment Project Manager for our Deployment Team in Customer Success.  This role is responsible for all aspects of project management, including project plans development, working with stakeholders and project resources throughout deployment projects and making critical path decisions during deployments.

This job requires a unique combination of well-developed project management skills, cross functional coordination, training ability, leadership, relationship management and effective communication. You will manage multiple projects and team members across diverse geographic locations using project management best practices.  Experience with project management in a modern logistics framework is beneficial for this role.

Travel approximately 50% of the time is required for this role. 

Responsibilities:

• Full project life cycle ownership, from sales to CS Deployment handoff to customer acceptance and handoff to support. 
• Development of project schedule, cross functional plans, and project resource plans.
• Ensure project remains on track - orchestrate and communicate with outward-facing project teams involving dedicated and borrowed staff, client resources and outside vendors, to ensure that all resources are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Assure customer satisfaction, coordinating team resources to address customer issues with speed and efficiency.
• Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Communicate project status weekly through project dashboard reporting process.
• Development of issue mitigation options cross functionally, gaining approval of plans, and ensuring execution of those plan.

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years’ experience in high tech project management
• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent desired
• Proven ability to manage outward-facing project teams involving dedicated cross functional staff, client resources, and outside vendors.
• Experience in 3PL, logistics, supply chain, warehousing desired
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining complex project plans related applications.
• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) a plus.
• Exceptional written and communication skills.
• Customer interfacing skills, strong business acumen.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Asana, Jira, NetSuite, Salesforce, Aha, experience a plus.
