Senior Technical Lead

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Senior Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing technical projects with a focus on enterprise architecture and information security compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning, designing, and building the VMIP environments as necessary.

• Developing and documenting enhancements for the VMIP.

• Performing functional, system, and integration testing, as well as supporting customer testing.

• Leading developers as needed.

• Deploying changes to production and verifying their operational functionality, including rollback strategies for failed deployments.

• Providing VMIP maintenance and operations (M&O) support services.

• Troubleshooting issues and correcting problems to ensure smooth system performance.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• A Master's degree from an accredited university.

• Cloud Certification in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience executing projects for the State of California.

• At least three (3) years of experience working with FedRAMP compliance.

• A solid understanding of State Administrative Manual (SAM) 5300 and Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM) standards, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.

• At least one (1) reference from the State of California.

• Five (5) years of experience applying security policies, standards, testing, modification, and implementation.

• Three (3) years of experience identifying gaps between current and target architecture and developing transition plans for information security.

• Three (3) years of experience defining enterprise architecture policies and principles, improving enterprise-level systems, and utilizing emerging technologies.

• Three (3) years of experience documenting enterprise architecture infrastructure using modeling techniques and ensuring technical integration across the enterprise.

• Three (3) years of experience working with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 Framework.

• Two (2) years of public sector experience at the Federal and/or State level.
