About the role

Description

The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for an open-rank Cognitive Behavioral Neurologist. Rank and tenure status are commensurate with training and experience. The successful candidate will participate in caring for patients with neurological disorders in the outpatient setting. To be considered for the tenure-eligible position, candidates must have a strong interest in a career in academic medicine and meet the criteria established for the School of Medicine.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, DO or other equivalent terminal degree, and be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology at the time of hire. Specialized fellowship training in a related field is strongly preferred. Evidence of academic productivity is highly valued.
