About the role
We are seeking a Research Assistant.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop methods to adjust for implicit bias in video-based assessment of surgical skill.
- Create surgical video datasets with annotations to demonstrate methods to adjust for implicit bias in video-based assessment of surgical skill.
- Participate in scientific writing and presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related disciplines.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or biomedical engineering.
- Experience with implementing deep learning applied to video analysis.

Starting Salary Range: $17.00 - $30.00 HRLY ($19,500 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
