Position Overview: The Summer Intern supports multiple departments across the organization, including Service, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to the employee benefits industry through a variety of administrative, client service, and project-based responsibilities. This is a paid, post-graduation internship with the potential to convert into a full-time role.

Work Arrangement: This is a part-time internship, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in our office located in Atlanta, GA.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with verifying client and employee information, including coverage, enrollment, and demographic data
  • Support inbound client and employee calls, providing professional first-level assistance and escalating as needed
  • Research and help resolve basic client inquiries
  • Assist with auditing client accounts and maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
  • Prepare and distribute client-facing communications, including benefit summaries and informational materials
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, and file organization
  • Support special projects, process documentation, and workflow improvements
  • Track deadlines, action items, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion
  • Assist with prospect research and maintain pipeline data within the CRM system
  • Support preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals
  • Coordinate scheduling of client and prospect meetings
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, including content creation and social media coordination
  • Research industry trends and support internal and external communications
  • Provide general office support as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university
  • Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, or a professional setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
