Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.</p> <p><strong>Product Specialist, Payment Methods </strong></p> <p>As Product Specialist in our team you will contribute to our growth by implementing the latest payment features, and working together with the main German card network Girocard. </p> <p>You are a <strong>German speaker</strong> and you will be the main product contact. You will expand our offer (unified commerce, Apple pay) in close collaboration with the payment method and our merchants. You will accurately review and analyse new specifications and project plans.</p> <p>Product Specialists are in charge of delivering core payment product features to Adyen merchants. You'll work closely together with other Adyen teams across the world, including Engineering, Partnerships, Implementation Management, In-Person and Online Payments, Compliance and Regulatory teams, and Commercial teams.</p> <p>Our team adds new markets for card acceptance, and use cases. Through our direct connections into the global card networks of Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners, JCB, and China UnionPay and domestic card networks such as Bancontact, Cartes Bancaires, and Girocard, we can provide the highest quality of payment processing while also leading the market in terms of product innovation.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Become an expert on German local card network (Girocard), usages and rules, maintain, troubleshoot and continuously make improvements</li> <li>Product Management: End-to-end responsibility on building new acquiring features, taking full ownership</li> <li>Project tracking and implementation: you own projects and are the driving force behind the definition of done and meeting objectives</li> <li>Investigate and troubleshoot issues with developers, implementation managers and support teams, to ensure operational excellence</li> <li>You are involved in prioritisation and planning exercises and work closely with commercial, support, and development teams to define the product roadmap</li> <li>You will work with important external stakeholders such as Girocard and/or local regulators</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <ul> <li>You are a German speaker with 2+ years of international working experience with understanding of product principles</li> <li>You have hands-on experience with Girocard payment systems, preferably from acquiring point of view</li> <li>You have a good understanding of the German payment market and regulations</li> <li>You can extract the ‘bigger picture’ out of a complex situation, and balance short term versus long term business needs</li> <li>You are able to structure, deliver and communicate project plans in cross-functional teams with product teams and software engineers</li> </ul> <p><strong>Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments </strong></p> <p>Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives.
