We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Controller for our West Jordan, UT office.


The Senior Controller at Audio Enhancement is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing financial leadership to support the company’s strategic goals. The Senior Controller will play a crucial role in driving the company’s financial strategy and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to support the organization’s mission of empowering learning in the classroom through innovative technology solutions.  

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy of financial data by implementing and maintaining effective internal controls.

• Oversee all accounting operations.

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s goals and objectives.

• Manage the budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets and monitoring of budget performance.

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, and analysis to financial management.

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.

• Assist with developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.

• Provide financial leadership and support to other departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Monitor and manage budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

• Identify and manage financial risks, including developing risk mitigation strategies.

• Assist the accounting manager to lead and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.



  

Special Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

· Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards

· 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position

· Experience in the K-12 education sector, technology sector, or a combination of both is preferred

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely

· Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

· Ability to meet all assigned deadlines

· Ability to work well with others in a team environment


 

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Wages Negotiable based on skill level and experience.
